Samui Aquarium and Tiger Zoo
Found on the South coast of the island just off the ring road towards Natien beach you can find the aquarium and tiger zoo.  Both of these facilities have many of Thailand's tropical favourites above and below the water. In the Aquarium you will find an array of coral fish, giant catfish and even some sharks. Once you have taken in what the ocean has to offer indoors you can move outside to see the performance more fierce animals.  Asian tigers will jump through fire and take lumps of meat from the trainer’s mouth. And let’s not forget the performance of the parrots, hornbills and sea hawks who display there intelligence and stealth.  Show’s are daily at two times of 11:00am and 14:00pm.

Set on 20 acres of jungle up the highest mountain on Koh Samui you can find this tranquil place. Take a leisurely stroll along some of the many trails where you can see fantastic waterfalls, towering natural rock formations and stunning views. Throughout the park are a variety of animals which not only appeal to the children but all ages. Feed the pygmy goats or pet the monkey, you can even try to count the number of different species of tropical birds in many aviaries in the park. Tired out then kick back and relax at the pool available to all park visitors with possibly the most spectacular view from a pool in anywhere in Samui. A perfect day out for all the family, open from 07:00 – 19:00.

 

Snake Show
Within a 10 minute drive from the Tiger Zoo at Talingnam just south of Nathon you can find the Samui Snake Farm. Here you can watch the snake handlers toy with deadly snakes and charm you as well as them.  An interesting display of the more than dangerous black scorpion will certainly set your pulse racing. After the show take a walk through the farm displays of the snakes found in Asia and YES on the island, that does include the notorious King cobra. Shows are twice daily at 11:00am and again at 14:00pm.

Samui’s number one crocodile show can be found at the crocodile farm located behind the airport.  Only 5 minutes from the airport it is simple to find, just follow the signs as you head towards Chaweng you can't miss it. See these amazing jaw snapping beasts being tossed and turned by their handler. Dare you come to sit with one of these powerful prehistoric creatures? Why not take a look through the Zoo at the many species of animals on offer. You will find there is much more to see than just the Siam crocodiles. With snakes and lizards, various monkeys, otters it would be a shame to miss out. Showtime begins at 14:00 with an encore performance at 16:30, so don’t miss out, get your seat early.
